Footfall For All

We sell UK footfall and mobility data on a flexible ‘pay as you use’ basis. Our goal is to make purchasing data quick and straightforward, whether on a one-time or ongoing basis. Our pricing is volume-based, featuring clear minimums and volume discounts.

We are all about the data and do not offer analysis services or tools. Instead we focus on delivering robust datasets that empower you to perform your own analysis, create insightful visualisations, and build innovative applications.

Transparent And Open

We generate our footfall dataset using GPS information from mobile apps. We maintain transparency regarding the attributes of the raw data, such as the size of the panel and the volume of location signals. We also share our methodology for cleansing, normalising, and extrapolating the data to create our final product.

  • Signals with accuracy threshold over 100m removed

  • Quirks of GPS data mean that hotspots occur where a signal is incorrectly located, we identify and remove these

Granular aggregated footfall

  • H3 is the open source spatial index that makes it easy to join geo data, for example sales data for store to footfall. Resolution 10 is on average equivalent circle with a radius of 155m

  • Both a count of the actual number of devices seen in the cell and a modelled number for total number of people this would indicate

  • Data is provided by hour of the day and this can be summed to understand changes in footfall between morning and evening or different days of the week

  • Choose from one or more of the top 100 towns and cites by population in the UK

Historical data

  • You can select a single month of data as your minimum volume, this will be for the prior month after the 15th of any given month.

  • You can select additional months of historical data, up to a year, helpful for spotting monthly changes or the effects of seasonal or one off events

  • You can subscribe to receive updated dat every month
